The Service is an online learning service designed for learners of Japanese.
The Service includes, but is not limited to:
- Online conversation sessions
- A learning community
- Japanese learning materials
- Other learning support provided by the Service
2. Application
After reviewing your application, the Service will contact you with further instructions.
3. Fees and Payment
The fees for the Service are those displayed on this website.
Payment must be made using the payment method specified by the Service.
Regular Membership is automatically renewed every four (4) weeks.
Unless you cancel your membership before the renewal date, your subscription will automatically renew every four (4) weeks.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
No refunds will be provided for cancellations made at the user’s request.
No refunds will be provided if you are unable to use the Service due to your internet connection, equipment failure, or any other circumstances on your side.
Conversation sessions are reserved exclusively for you. If you join a session after the scheduled start time, the session will still end at the scheduled end time and will not be extended.
If the Service is unable to provide a scheduled session due to circumstances on the Service’s side, the applicable fee will be refunded.
5. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not engage in any of the following:
- Any act that violates applicable laws or public order and morals
- Any act that causes inconvenience or harm to other users or GogakuLABO
- Any act that interferes with the operation of the Service
- Any act that seriously disrupts the smooth operation of the Service
- Any other conduct that GogakuLABO considers inappropriate
6. Learning Environment
Users must participate in conversation sessions from a quiet environment where they can concentrate on the conversation.
Users are expected to keep their camera on during conversation sessions unless otherwise instructed.
During conversation sessions, users must not engage in other activities such as driving, exercising, eating, making phone calls, or any other activity that interferes with active participation.
If GogakuLABO determines that a user’s learning environment or behavior is not suitable for conducting a conversation session, the session may be terminated. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
7. Copyright
All learning materials, texts, images, videos, and other content provided through the Service, as well as all related intellectual property rights, belong to GogakuLABO or their respective rights holders.
Users may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, modify, or otherwise use any content provided by the Service without prior written permission from GogakuLABO.
8. Recording
Users may not record, stream, distribute, or publicly share any conversation session without the prior permission of GogakuLABO.
9. Suspension and Termination
GogakuLABO may suspend or terminate a user’s access to the Service without prior notice if the user:
- Violates these Terms
- Causes inconvenience or harm to other users or GogakuLABO
- Seriously damages the relationship of trust between the user and GogakuLABO
- Is otherwise considered likely to interfere with the operation of the Service
No refund will be provided for any fees already paid if access to the Service is suspended or terminated.支払われた利用料金は返金いたしません。
10. Disclaimer
The Service may be unavailable in whole or in part due to natural disasters, power outages, communication failures, or other events beyond GogakuLABO’s reasonable control.
In such cases, GogakuLABO will not provide refunds or any other compensation.
GogakuLABO is also not responsible for any inability to use the Service caused by the user’s internet connection, equipment, or other circumstances on the user’s side.
11. Changes to These Terms
GogakuLABO may revise these Terms whenever necessary.
Any revised Terms will become effective when they are published on this website.
